1 in 6 people in Louisiana is at risk for hunger.
The need for emergency assistance has risen dramatically due to the rising cost of food, housing, and utilities, along with rising unemployment rates.

Second Harvest Food Bank's mission is to end hunger in South Louisiana by providing food access, advocacy, education, & disaster response. And with your support, we provide more than 30 million meals annually and help 100,000+ people every month.

And, because of our efficiencies, food rescue programs, vital partnerships,
and dedicated volunteers, we are able to keep our administrative costs down to just three percent.

Your efforts and donations help to Give Hope year-round to the hungry in our communities
and help put us on the path to end hunger in South Louisiana.
